# 798. 2 5/8" x 1 3/8" Hardin. Made from Hi-grade Burlington and reported found in Illinois. This one is a very well made piece with zero damage. Light use wear to the one lower blade edge, but the micro-serrations are absolutely KILLER ! ! This is an Ex-Syle Jayne piece. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jayne recently, a very nice, easy going Gentlemen, in the truest sense of the word. He sure likes his Hardins!                                      $210

# B-5: 2 3/8 x 1 1/8 Lance (Agate Basin?)
# B-5: 2 3/8" x 1 1/8" heavily resharpened Lance from the Western Plains. This piece came with a Jackson COA as an Agate Basin, made of Basalt. The basal and lateral edges are VERY HEAVILY GROUND.  While I have shown this to no other authenticator, several of my friends believe it to be a Hell Gap. You buy it and you can call it what you like. There appears to
There appears to be some cortex like material on one side and also some numbering on that same side.  I have no correlating information for those numbers, sorry.        SOLD

# 739: 3 1/4" x 1 1/4"
# 739: 3 1/4" x 1 1/4"
# 739: 3 1/4" x 1 1/4" Hmmmm. What to call it? I had one opinion given as a Rice Stemmed, a Woodland point. Definitely authentic, with a needle tip and some pretty nice flaking. This baby sure looks earlier than that to me. It has moderate to heavy stem grinding, like a Hardin or Table Rock would, but it sure "feels" Early Archaic to me. Kind of reminds me of a Kramer possibly. So I don't know, call it what you like. I call it a beautiful,

well made piece ! It's probably from Central MO. I bought it at auction in Salisbury, MO. Made from a nice grade of Burlington.      $145 now $120
# 704 - 2 3/4 x 1 Illinois Lance
# 704. 2 3/4" x 1" well made Illinois Lance. Made from Burlington, with a VERY LIGHT pinkish hue. I bought this as an Agate Basin, but due to the lack of grinding and the overall appearance of this piece, I believe it would fall closer to Angostura. Bought from the Kilguss Auction site from Karl, it is without question AUTHENTIC. Karl thought it might be Strawberry Chert, but I don't think so. I also don't believe it has been heated; the pinkish tinge is so light, I just don't see it being a heated piece. While not huge, this well made piece of history definitely saw use and would make a great addition to any collection !

# 822 - 3 1/4 x 1 3/8 Stilwell
# 822. 3 1/4" x 1 3/8" Stilwell. Made from a nice piece of Burlington, this Stilwell was reported found in Illinois. I wish I could give a county, but I don't make the stuff up. I pass on ONLY the info I can get from a seller. This Stilwell has it all, medium grinding all around the base and killer serrations. A very minor tip ding is barely evident, but I want to mention it so you know what you are getting. The ears were shapened to their present condition, it would have been nice to see this one first stage!  A fantasic example of an Early Archaic steak knife. I borrowed that phrase from a friend who has collected Stilwells for  barely evident, but I want to mention it so you know what you are getting.

I borrowed that phrase from a friend who has collected Stilwells for a number of years. I believe he is right on the money with his take of the use for these under appreciated and hard to come by point types.        $125 now $100
# 767 - 3 3/4 x 1 3/8 Square Knife
# 767 - 3 3/4 x 1 3/8 Square Knife
# 767. 3 3/4" x 1 3/8" Square Knife. Made from a good grade of heavy fossiliferous, light tan/pinkish Burlington. Reported found in Fulton Co. IL. and as ex-Larry VanBibber collection. What can I say about this blade? If you like Squares, you will LOVE this one, I guarantee it! With heavy stone sheen patina and some BEAUTIFUL crystalline inclusions, this one is sure to please. Approaching 1/4" at its thickest spot, it sure feels a lot thinner, but the caliper doesn't lie. I bought this blade as a keeper, as I do with MOST ALL of my Artifacts, but decided to give you all a shot at it. If it was from MO, it WOULD NOT be for sale.  If it doesn't sell, I have the PERFECT spot in a frame for it no matter where it was found, lol. A wonderful ancient artifact that would look good in ANY collection.
# 798 - 2 5/8 x 1 3/8 Hardin
# 813
# 813. This 1 has 2 COA's, at least they both agree it is AUTHENTIC ! Found in Jefferson Co, MO, prob made from creek stained Burlington. 2008 Jerry Dickey states: 4 1/4" x 1 9/16" and called  it a Dickson Contracting Stemmed.  In 1998 Tom Davis stated: 4 1/8" x 1 1/2" and called it a Gary.  This is an Ex-Jerry Dickey piece, per personal conversation with Jerry.
Bought at Rainbow Traders auction recently, a very nice Ancient Missouri Artifact.

# 775: 5 5/16" x 1 7/16" Stilwell. Made from Burlington and reported found in Fulton Co, IL. Very well made and barely reaching 5/16" thick, I have provenance on this piece back to the finder. The one ear appears to me to have been sharpened away and the tip is as made. An Early
